1. Summary
Favora is designed to keep medication routines private, clear, and controlled by the user. We collect account, medication reminder, support access, subscription, notification, and device information only where needed to provide the app, sync data, send reminders, support family care features, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Favora is not a medical advice service. You should always speak to a GP, pharmacist, healthcare professional, NHS 111, or emergency services for medical guidance.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, password authentication details handled by Supabase, account identifiers, subscription status, access PIN hash, and basic profile settings.
Medication and reminder information
You may choose to add medication names, dosage text, schedule times, selected days, active or paused status, stock quantity, used per dose, low-stock thresholds, reminder settings, and medication logs such as Taken, Skipped, Out of stock, Snoozed, or Not confirmed.
Family support information
If you invite or support someone, we may process invitation details, support access level, profile membership, support alerts, reminder requests, and activity needed to show who can view or manage a care profile.
Notifications and device information
To send reminders and alerts, we may store push notification tokens, device platform, notification preferences, notification event history, and delivery status. Local notifications may also be scheduled on your device.
Subscription information
For Premium, we store subscription plan, status, Apple transaction identifiers, renewal period information, and related entitlement status. Payment card details are processed by Apple and are not stored by Favora.
Support and diagnostic information
If you contact us, we may receive your message, email address, device type, browser or app context, screenshots you choose to send, and other details needed to investigate the issue.
3. How we use your information
- To create and secure your Favora account.

- To send push or local notifications for medication, low stock, support alerts, invitations, and account events.
- To enable Family Support, Care Circle invitations, access permissions, and support dashboards.
- To manage Premium access, restore purchases, and subscription entitlements.
- To provide customer support and troubleshoot reliability issues.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law.
4. Sharing and family support
Favora does not sell your personal information. We share information only where needed to operate the service, process subscriptions, send notifications, provide support, or where you choose to share a care profile with a trusted supporter.
When you invite a supporter, they may see information allowed by their access level, such as medication schedules, stock status, alerts, and confirmation status. You can remove support access from within Favora.
Service providers may include Supabase for authentication, database, and edge functions, Resend for email delivery, Apple for subscriptions and push notification infrastructure, and Vercel for web hosting.
5. Storage, security, and protection
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS/TLS transport, Supabase authentication, access controls, row-level security policies, and permission-based support access.
Your 4-digit access PIN is not stored as plain text by Favora. Local device data may be stored to support offline reminders and a smoother app experience. You should protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID where available.
No online service can guarantee complete security. If you believe your account or support access has been misused, contact us immediately at privacy@app.favora.care.
6. How long we keep information
We keep account and care profile information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Medication logs, notification events, invitation history, and support activity may be retained to show history, improve reliability, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational requirements.
You can request deletion of your account or certain data by contacting us. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period where required for security, legal, or technical reasons.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal information. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- You can edit or delete medications inside the app.
- You can pause or reactivate medication reminders.
- You can remove supporters or cancel your own support access.
- You can turn notifications on or off in app settings and iOS settings.
- You can manage or cancel Premium through your Apple Account.
- You can contact us to request account deletion or privacy assistance.
8. Legal basis for processing
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process information based on contract performance to provide Favora, consent for certain optional features, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, and legal obligations where required.
Medication information may be considered sensitive health-related information. We process it only because you choose to add it to Favora to receive medication reminder and support features.
9. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries outside your location. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections and provider security commitments.
10. Children
Favora is intended for adults who manage their own medications or support someone they care for. If a care profile relates to a child or dependent, the account holder is responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authority to enter and manage that information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Favora grows. If changes are important, we will provide a clear notice in the app, by email, or on this page. The effective date at the top shows when this policy last took effect.
